Our History

The Stan Mansion is part of the 2 ½ mile long Logan Square Historic District in the city of Chicago, which is an area that has remained virtually unchanged for over a century. Our building was first built as a Masonic lodge to house a chapter of the Knight’s Templars. It remained a lodge for most of its history until Cera Stan bought the property and began maintaining, renovating, and restoring the building to its former beauty.

In 2018, we made completed our final restoration process to help bring the building back to its original splendor and luxuriousness and ensure that the fine and meticulous details are clear for all to see. In our minds, our history is important to the personality of our space, and by working to restore the structure to its former glory, we can ensure that we continue to rewrite the story of Stan Mansion, so that 100 years from now, citizens of Chicago can tell the story of how a former Masonic lodge became one of the most popular wedding venues in the mid-west.
